Well, I finally attended my first craft show as a vendor!  It was in downtown Fort Lauderdale, specifically Jezebel Vintage (for the Retro half) and Radioactive Records (for the Geek half, which I fit into).  I only wish it had been held a week earlier, as the weather was actually quite chilly... and hats are a foreign object to most Floridians except when it's cold.

Overall the show was a blast... great to meet so many crafters and people interested in handmade crafts!  Unfortunately for all of us the crowd wasn't very interested in making a lot of purchases.  I made out better than a lot of people, managing to sell two YodImp hats and a Well Fed Vampire.  A lot of people took cards as well, and I made them feel the brainy squishiness of my hats... so there's hope they may remember a relative in a colder place down the line.

A big thanks to my pal Dan, who helped out at the show and kept me company for the 7 hours we sat there.  Those people who showed up in person were also elevated a few notches on the coolness scale... George, Kim, Dawn, and Mike... you are all awesomesauce.  (So are Keri and Shannon, as they would have been there if not for work and health reasons)

Sad news for those of you who're Narutarded though... Viz made me take down the shirt.  Apparently they're viciously hunting down anyone with Naruto tags in their description, even if the shirt itself has no breach of copyright.  Rather than risk a legal battle I took it down... but hey, that just means those people who did get one of the shirts now owns a limited edition!  

Doing some commission work I'm behind on now... pretty much had to drop everything else for two whole months to prep for the craft show.  (Those people I'm doing work on were kind enough to understand, and I thank them for their patience)  So expect some cool artwork, and a few new hats to be popping up soon!
